The unique design of this chest bandage relieves pressure caused by air (pneumothorax) or body fluids (hemothorax) in the chest following a penetrating chest injury. The H*VENT ventilated laminar chest bandage is sold individually. A twin pack of two individually wrapped bandages is also available.

Unique multi-directional ventilation patch that provides “gravity drainage” of fluids. This is important, among other reasons, because it allows the injured person to be transported on their side.
Its design prevents occlusion, providing a safety system in which, thanks to its 6 ports, even if 5 of them are obstructed, the ventilation system would remain fully operational.
The membrane features a specific dome-shaped design that provides a complete seal around the wound, ensuring isolation of the area and reducing the risk of air or fluid infiltration.
It has large ventilation channels that allow visual monitoring of the wound.
Its dome-shaped design instantly reveals any air or fluid leaks (inflates) or shows that the seal is in its correct position (suction effect).
Internal testing demonstrates that the patch remains sealed and maintains a constant negative pressure (below atmospheric pressure) in the pleural space.
It is the thinnest ventilated chest patch on the market and very easy to fold.
It has a 5-year shelf life.
