Burns blanket BurnFree®

BurnFree burn blankets offer immediate physical protection from fire, smoke, and heat. They meet the requirements for a blanket to be used for rescue or escape in the event of a fire and can be used as a body wrap to extinguish fires and cool and moisten burns.

BurnFree uses Carbopol Ultrex 10 as the thickening agent for its gel. Carbopol is a thickener used in shampoo and food products. It is generally considered a clean, bio-based ingredient for manufacturing. BurnFree has revised its gel formula, ensuring a viscosity for all temperature conditions with increased absorption thanks to its unique open-cell foam.
